Hey Garden(ers)!

Thank you so much to all of you that came to Summer Solstice ☀️!!! It was magickal!!! We'll have a proper roundup of all the things we got into, and the people who made it happen soon, we just need a quick moment to recover😅! This upcoming Saturday, we have another special event for you, spear headed by one of our members: A Day of Ballet with Ashley! In this short interview, Reclaiming Ballet for Us, Ashley shares with me her very personal experiences with toxic ballet culture, harmful training and creating a dance space that centers BIPOC people of all sizes, shapes and abilities. Find that interview and the schedule for A Day of Ballet here!

Vendor of the Week

We want to shout out some of the wonderful vendors led by BIPOC folks who are taking covid mitigations that we've had grace Garden. This week, we are highlighting muck house herbs! From the vendor: "muck house herbs is a fundraiser shop that raises money for our future Black + Indigenous housing collective in New Mexico. We focus in salves and oils for soothing chronic pain/inflammation, as well as, organic smokeable herbs for different body sensations. All our products are sliding scale and 10% of profits go to genocide-survivor efforts in the DRC, Sudan, and Palestine. <3 " Check out muck house herbs via their website link, IG and their fundraiser update!

Until next our avatars meet!
