Join us for this ceremony rooted in indigenous culture as fellow Garden member, ze (they/them) will share practices and stories from their native Mesoamerican heritage. We also plan to have a discussion portion/talk circle* as part of this gathering to help us reflect, dream and support each other in embracing the solstice themes. 😱 Horrorheads unite for a selection of holiday themed movies! Beginning with a zombie apocalypse musical set at Christmastime, then a thriller where a detective pursues a long-legged serial killer in late December, move into a horror about an supernatural advent calendar, and lastly finish with a mystery where a true-crime podcaster goes home for Christmas to investigate a ghost who is terrorizing her hometown by reenacting previous murders. 🦾 Self Defense Discussion Series with Caroline will be Sundays at 8am PST. Each group includes reading, discussion and (potential) movement on self-defense principles! 🫂 The January sessions of Chronic Illness and Long Covid Support Group will be this Thursdays January 2nd, 16th & 30th from 5:30pm-7:30pm PST with Chanelle! Navigating everything that comes with chronic illness can be difficult - from managing symptoms to experiencing grief over missing your pre-illness life. This is a peer support space where we can share our feelings about living with any chronic/long-term illness, including long Covid, during an ongoing pandemic. ITF is the only global participatory grantmaker that is exclusively dedicated to supporting trans-led groups as they work to secure rights for trans people and improve their lived realities.
