The U.S. is terrible with protecting our individual information. There are frequently data leaks and companies sell our info all the time. The result? Your first and last name, your recent addresses, your occupation, the names of your family members are all put out there for the world to see. I will walk through a free (albeit tedious) way to remove your information from the internets and also give general tips on how you can protect yourself as an online user.
