This weekend:

  1. We welcomed Venus Kii Thomas and edxi as features for Cupid Ain't @#$%!: An Anti-Valentine's Day Poetry Movement. We laughed, cried, and planned for a revolution together in our brand new Garden Theater!
  2. We ushered in the Year of the Dragon gloriously with two Lunar New Year's events courtesy of the LNY Event Collective on Friday & Sunday!
  3. We hosted the first Bonfire of the year for Black Coviding folks.

Thank you to all who came to slam haikus, watch the acrobatics of a Dragon dance, or play Battle Tetris by the virtual fire! If you are wanting to host an event or performance in Garden, let us know!

Additionally, while we are very Anti-Valentine's Day, we are very pro-all kinds of Radical Love here! For those of y'all looking for a potential romantic connection, remember we have a Love Offerings padlet scattered around and embedded in these bulletin boards in places like the Lobby, Enchanted Library, Trans/Queer Lounge, Arcade and more! We encourage you to take some time perusing and maybe make an ad for yourself if you feel so inclined! The Love Offerings padlet is only linked inside of Garden and is available only to other BIPOC Covid Cautious folks!

Until next our avatars meet!

J Mase's avatar is in the Lobby of Garden facing a sand colored brick wall that hosts a white bookshelf to the left and a bulletin board with notes scattered across it is at center.

Garden is a free 24/7 space, but it does cost money for us to maintain it on GatherTown. If you'd like to donate to this work, consider throwing some money in the pot here.
